This is Us, our Family!
Nate and I met at USU and were married a year later. We stayed in Logan until Nate finished his degree, then we moved to Davis County. We lived in several different cities in Davis County. While there our family grew also and now we have our 2 handsome little boys. They are our life and we our so very happy to have them! They make everyday fun and exciting! We are now living in Vernal and loving it! Each day is an adventure and full of energy thanks to our boys! I have the blessing to be at home with Corbin and Aidan everyday thanks to my hard working Husband. I love being a Mom and a Wife! I love my family more than anything! This blog is a collection of our lives and our family love story. Happy Blogging!

Happy Mother's Day!
I've always had kind of a complex about Mother's Day. I've always thought of it as a dumb Holiday, because I figure we should be celebrating our Mothers everyday and treating them just as good as we do on Mother's day. Also since it took me a long time to get the opportunity to become a Mother this Holiday became a constant reminder that I wasn't. So this year I took a different approach to Mother's Day and decided to just enjoy being around my family and not to care if it was Mother's Day or not, and just be happy to be a Mom. I have to say I had the BEST Mother's Day weekend ever!!!! My Parents came to visit and spoiled us all rotten. I was so happy to have them here and Corbin and Aidan had a blast playing all weekend with them! Thanks Mom and Dad! I really needed your visit! I think we all did! Also my boys were so good all weekend of course on Sunday they were so worn out from playing with Grandpa and Grandma that they just lounged in our laps all through church. The worst thing that happened all weekend was Aidan had eaten stawberries for breakfast on Sunday and put some down his shirt that we discovered after we walked into Church. Of course I had been carrying him and they got smashed between us and we both ended up with pinkish red stains on the front of us. So I figured if that was the worst thing that happened, it was nothing to worry about, just a funny story. Nate and the boys spoiled me also. Thank You Nate and Boys! Nate and I were able to go do sealings at the Temple Saturday night with our ward. That just made the weekend that much better. Anyway now that this is a novel....I'm so glad for Mothers! Thank you Moms for being the wonderful Women you are! We hope you all had a Great Mother's Day too!

Mini Vacation!

So we got bored with the usual routine of the weekend and took another "free" mini vacation to Holiday Inn Express. Mostly we go there to take the boys swimming but since it's cold outside and fun to let someone else make your bed, what the heck, right? So we just stay the whole night and go get dinner and go swimming. Plus we get free breakfast and for a Hotel it's pretty good, omlets, breakfast burritos, bagels, sausage, cinnamon rolls and the list can go on for awhile. The boys love it and get so excited their bouncing off the walls waiting for Nate to get home from work so they can go to the Hoetel as Corbin calls it. Anyway here we are ready to go swimming! Hope you all had a nice weekend and have a great week!

Warm Weather and Family Fun!

So we had very strange weather over the weekend and into the new week. We acually had some "warm" weather it was almost "hot" weather! We're not use to that here in Vernal. Of course as soon as it really warmed up it turned back to cold. So here are a few pictures of the boys running around outside while we did yard work and stuff during the warm weather. They found the mud, tasted the chalk and probably the mud too! Corbin drew 2 chalk portraits one of his Dad with a "fat tummy"....Nate didn't appreciate the portrait near as much as the rest of us! And he drew a picture of "Grandma with a mustache" but when we asked him which Grandma it was, his answer was "the Circle Grandma". He doesn't have a Circle Grandma and he wouldn't give us anymore info. So Grandma's don't worry neither one of you have a portrait with a mustache and he thinks your both beautiful! Aidan had lost his pants and shoes to the mud by the time they were done playing, but he didn't give up! He just helped us water the dirt to make more mud. The other picture is of the boys playing in their Fort on the day it started out hot and muggy and by noon had turned into windy and back to cold, so we had an inside day. They even had a picnic with fruitsnacks and milk. That was yesterday's fun, today we woke up to snow/really thick frost stuck to everything and more cold. So another inside day instore for today.

What have we been upto lately......

We've been busy, busy lately! We've made 2 trips home in the last week. On our first trip we bought a car from my brother and sister-n-law Jayson and Melissa. It's a Jeep and they kept it in great condition! We are excited for the new Jeep! We were running out of space in our old car, especially when going camping. Corbin hugs the Jeep every time we go to get in it and calls it his race car. Aidan just gets giggly and excited every time he gets in it. So we can see they are happy for the change also. Thanks again, Jayson and Melissa! We also went home overnight to see our new Nephew and Cousin Liam. He's a cutie! We are excited for Jon and Jer and this new adventure they are about to go on! Also before we came home this morning, I finally got up the nerve to get my hair cut short again. I've been contiplating it for quite awhile, so I just went and did it. I'm still getting use to the shock of short hair but I was able to donate over 10 inches to Locks of Love. That makes it worth it to me and I figure I can always grow it out again. Nate likes the "new do" and I think I do...like I said I'm still getting use to it! The boys were abit shocked too but came and hugged me after a few minutes of staring at me, so I know they are o.k. with it. They are also happy to be home and out of the car. They are such good travelers but they can only handle so much like all kids and I think they've had enough for awhile. We hope you are all happy and well!

Party the Weekend Away!

We went home for a visit over the weekend and had a Birthday Party for Corbin(#4) with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins! Corbin loved every minute of it! Thank you for all of you who came and showed Corbin your love and spoiled him rotten! We love you! Here are some pictures from his Birthday. He got his bike on his Birthday and we bought the Doggie cupcake cake from Walmart for his actual Birthday Day, he thought it was pretty cool! Then he had a Spiderman Birthday party at his Grandparents the next day. I made the cake and Nate did the Awesome decorating of his Spiderman cake. Thanks Nate! Then the boys(Nate, My Dad and Brothers) took off for the rest of the weekend to the Drag Races in Vegas! They all came back sunburned and with lots of cool stories to share! I think they had a great time, as if the 6 phone calls home a day to let us hear the noise of the different car engines didn't tell us! While the guys where all gone to the Drags us Girls and our kids spent a lot of time at Grandma's just playing and watching movies. We also went to Willow Park in Logan, and out to Dinner. It was great fun and good to get out and play while the guys were out partying themselves. Our kids all had fun playing together and were very warn-out by the time the weekend was over. It was a nice mini vacation!

Weekend.....again, already?!

Wow, time flew this week! I can't believe even the weekend is over too! Well we stayed home and watched Conference and spent time hanging out as a family. Nate has taken up a new cooking hobby. He saw a T.V. show that features Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and some of their signiture foods, and they were featuring pancakes. So here is his attempt at "Drawing Things in Pancakes". Not bad, hey? We all loved our unique pancakes especially the boys. They had him taking requests by the time they were done. For more pictures and info go to his blog. The boys decided it was fun to make themselves look fat by putting balls down their pajama's. Of course they did this after watching their Dad do it to himself. Yeah, what a good example he can be to our boys sometimes! Just kidding, they were all having such a good time, I had to laugh! It was just funny to watch them running around looking like they were little midget, pregnant, men(not a sight I really want to see again). Conference was excellent as to be expected! I think it's cool how much of a focus the family has been in the talks this past year. This Conference too. Also the focus on being kind and respectful to all our family members and to spend more time together. I Love My Families, all of them that I am a part of! I'm glad that we all are a big family!
