This is Us, our Family!

Nate and I met at USU and were married a year later. We stayed in Logan until Nate finished his degree, then we moved to Davis County. We lived in several different cities in Davis County. While there our family grew also and now we have our 2 handsome little boys. They are our life and we our so very happy to have them! They make everyday fun and exciting! We are now living in Vernal and loving it! Each day is an adventure and full of energy thanks to our boys! I have the blessing to be at home with Corbin and Aidan everyday thanks to my hard working Husband. I love being a Mom and a Wife! I love my family more than anything! This blog is a collection of our lives and our family love story. Happy Blogging!

Tumbling and Goofy Pics.

Corbin has been doing Tumbling since last September and he loves it! As most of you know he gets a bit crazy with the stunts, jumps and rolls. So we decided it was time to look for an activity that would help him learn to do these things safely and find something he'd enjoy doing too. So this is it. He has learned a lot and has even just moved from the Novice class to the regular Beginner Class. Pretty good since he could have stayed in the Novice till he was 6 yrs old. We are glad Corbin enjoys Tumbling so much. This whole week has been a Parent and Family week to let the kids show off and get ready for all the upcoming performances and parades. Corbin invited his Dad for his guest and since it was Memorial Day Corbin ended up the only Student to show up for his class. He enjoyed all the attention and listened a lot better to instructions. Of course Aidan and I also got to go watch but we get to go every week.
Corbin and his teacher Miss Marcy. She is great with the kids and creates a very positive environment for them to learn and do their best, instead of focusing on competition.
Seal stretch.
They always start out with stretching. Corbin is doing a bridge.

They then do a bunch of flips, jumps, spins, cartwheels, and handstands. Most of this is done on trampolines and bouncy mats. It's pretty funny to watch the kids bouncing all over the place, as their doing stunts. Practice, practice, practice.
Next they go to the back and do some crazy wiggles, and dance moves to have a small break. They also do some more flips, rolls, handstands, etc. in front of the mirrors so they can watch themselves. They mostly just like to watch themselves.

At the end of class, Miss Marcy gets out "Big Blue" a big trampoline air mattress. Then they get to do a couple of their favorite tricks. Corbin is running the length of a long trampoline and jumping up flipping in the air before landing on his bum on the mat. He's crazy but he did it over and over and loved every minute of it. Tuck and Roll! We are proud of Corbin for sticking with tumbling, doing so well and happy he has found a sport he loves.
So what does Aidan do to pass the time of Tumbling? He gets to play, play, play. He always colors me a pretty picture. He also gets to play with all sorts of toys, puzzles, watch movies, build with blocks. Every once in a while he just comes and sits on my lap and watches Corbin and the rest of the class. He would love to go out and participate with them. Next year he'll have his turn if he still wants too.
What a cutie!
Snuggling with Dad while we watch Corbin. He was having so much fun cuddling up with these silly balls.

O.k. this was just a funny picture because as you can see Aidan is trying to eat this yogurt and is having a great time. I usually get the generic cheap yogurts since everyone loves them but me. But Corbin and Aidan have seen the commercial for the Danimals Smash Cups and have been asking for them for awhile. When we went grocery shopping as a family the other day they started begging for them and Corbin took it upon himself to just set them in the cart. Nate then did a price comparison to see how much more they were than regular yogurt. Since they were only a few cents more, we gave in. Yes, sometimes we are just suckers. Don't waste your money on these. Corbin and Aidan both tried them and Corbin doesn't even like them. Aidan loves them but you can see why. He loves to play in his food and this is all about that. I figure he ends up with just as much yogurt on his face no matter what kind he eats.
