Corbin has been studying Indians at school. As he has been passing off his acedemic goals at school he and the other students earned feathers for their headbands. Right before Thanksgiving they had a little Pow Wow and ate Indian bread, danced and partied. Then they were able to bring home their Headbands and other treasures they made, like a salt dough bead and noodle necklace, constructon paper Turkey, etc. He had a blast as always and wore his headband most of the rest of the day. His given Indian Name "Swift Fox". Pretty fitting. He was proud of himself and so were we that he did so great passing off all his goals. I must say he makes one cute little Indian. The funniest thing is he played up the role so well. I had to call him Swift Fox for like an hour when he got home. And he had a whole story about how he was my Ancestor and he came from a long time ago on a long, long journey. He didn't have a home anymore so could he please stay with me since he was my long lost Ancestor that grew up eating corn and wheat. It was a well thought out story. Too cute!
Nate smoked a Turkey for his work party this year and he saved the wishbone for the Boys. They thought it was so neat to get to snap it in half. Aidan got the bigger piece and when I asked him if he made a wish he said "yah". It was fun to see them so excited about it.
My cute little Bakers! They almost look like Elves. We had to make stuffing, cookies and pie crust all at the same time. So we joined forces and involved the whole family. Corbin and Aidan were great helpers along with their Dad who tries to come to my rescue when I get stressed out with to many things going on at once. We made a great team and had a lot of fun getting it all done together as a family. I got these aprons that come with the hats at Dollar Tree and the Boys loved them. Can't beat them for a $1.
I just thought this was cute of them snuggling in the chair with their buddies and watching a movie. I love it when they are being nice and cute to each other. I Love My Boys!
