This is Us, our Family!

Nate and I met at USU and were married a year later. We stayed in Logan until Nate finished his degree, then we moved to Davis County. We lived in several different cities in Davis County. While there our family grew also and now we have our 2 handsome little boys. They are our life and we our so very happy to have them! They make everyday fun and exciting! We are now living in Vernal and loving it! Each day is an adventure and full of energy thanks to our boys! I have the blessing to be at home with Corbin and Aidan everyday thanks to my hard working Husband. I love being a Mom and a Wife! I love my family more than anything! This blog is a collection of our lives and our family love story. Happy Blogging!

Corbin's New Adventure.

Corbin has taken up a new interest...Rock Climbing.  He loves it!  It came as no surprise that he kind of has a knack for it.  We have taken him and Aidan twice now and Corbin has asked us everyday since if he can go to the Rec. Center and try it again.  It's a good way for him to get all his energy out and it's free with our membership to the Rec. Center so we can't lose with that.  Maybe Nate and I will get brave enough to try it...maybe.  Actually I would love to try it because it's always intrigued me but I'm afraid of how stupid I'm going to look when halfway up the wall I get stuck and can't get up or down.  At least it will be something to laugh at, right?
Here is Aidan trying it for the first time.  He did really well.  He climbed about a third of the way up and froze.  The Instructor and I tried to help him to keep going up and then tried to help him go back down, but he wasn't telling us what he wanted or what was wrong.   He was just frozen on the wall.  So I went over and put my arm around his waist and he burst into tears and fell into my arm.  I was so sad for him.  I think it scared him somehow because that's all we got out of him was that it was scary.  And now he has no interest in trying to climb the wall again.  So when Corbin climbs, Aidan goes up and slides down the spiral slide at the top of the rock wall and shares a treat or pop from the vending machines with Me.
And here is tooth #2 pulled out by Mom.  I may not be as good at pulling teeth as Grandpa but after a few tries we got it and I redeemed myself.  I can't believe I was brave enough to do it.  It made me squeamish at first and then Nate gave it a try and nothing happened.  So I tried one more time and out it came.  Corbin loves the Tooth Fairy and is already working on the next tooth just in case it's wiggly.  He's too funny!  He lets them get so wiggly he could pop them out himself if anyone could get a hold of those tiny little buggers.  But he likes the idea of having someone pull it out with the string.  They come out way easy as soon as we can get the string to stay tight around those small little teeth.  Funny thing is Corbin lets them get so wiggly that by the time they come out the next one breaks through the gum with in 48 hours.  So he won't have holes for very long.
Here's Aidan all grins and smiles!  He is proud to have all his teeth still in his mouth.  Though he is curious about the Tooth Fairy.  He likes to pull funny faces and is always trying out a new smile when I ask him to look at the camera for a picture.  What a cute funny Boy!
I Love My Boys!  They are so fun and cute and make each day so exciting and fun!

Good job pulling teeth...that is one thing I cant do. Ugh. Brady LOVES the toothfairy too, it is a funny age. And you should totally try the rock wall. Climbing up is fun, but when you get stuck, repelling down is even more fun. :)

Corbin is such a little climber! I bet he loves that. I would be too chicken to get to the top! :) I can't believe he is loosing teeth! He is getting too big.
